CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION (SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR 2007- 2008) BILL 2007 (Brought in by the Premier, the Honourable Paul Anthony Lennon) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year ending 30 June 2008 for the purpose of making a contribution to Division 3 of the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2007, Finance-General Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2007-2008) Act 2007. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2007. 3. Issue and appropriation of $50 000 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on [Bill 65] 3

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2007-2008) Act 2007 Act No. of s. 4 30 June 2008, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $50 000 000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purpose of appropriation The sum of $50 000 000 is to be applied to Division 3 of the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2007, Finance- General, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. 4
