CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION (SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR 2013-14) BILL 2014 This Public Bill originated in the House of Assembly, and, having this day passed, is now ready for presentation to the Legislative Council for its concurrence. ALCOCK, Clerk of the House 29 May 2014 (Brought in by the Treasurer, the Honourable Peter Carl Gutwein) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year ending on 30 June 2014 for the purpose of making contributions to Division 1, Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts, Division 2, Department of Education, Division 3, Finance-General, Division 4, Department of Health and Human Services, Division 5, Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, Division 6, Department of Justice, Division 7, Ministerial and Parliamentary Support, Division 8, Department of Police and Emergency Management, Division 9, Department of Premier and Cabinet, and Division 10, Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment, of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013 Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: [Bill 7] 3

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2013-14) Act 2014 Act No. of s. 1 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2013-14) Act 2014. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2013. 3. Issue and appropriation of $92 599 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2014, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $92 599 000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purpose of appropriation (1) The sum of $3 102 000 is to be applied to Division 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (2) The sum of $40 690 000 is to be applied to Division 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Education, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. 4

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2013-14) Act 2014 Act No. of s. 4 (3) The sum of $32 281 000 is to be applied to Division 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Finance-General, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (4) The sum of $1 112 000 is to be applied to Division 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Health and Human Services, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (5) The sum of $119 000 is to be applied to Division 5 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (6) The sum of $2 620 000 is to be applied to Division 6 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Justice, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (7) The sum of $4 753 000 is to be applied to Division 7 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Ministerial and Parliamentary Support, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (8) The sum of $3 866 000 is to be applied to Division 8 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 5

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2013-14) Act 2014 Act No. of s. 5 2013, Department of Police and Emergency Management, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (9) The sum of $90 000 is to be applied to Division 9 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Premier and Cabinet, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (10) The sum of $3 966 000 is to be applied to Division 10 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2013, Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. 5.
