CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION (SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR 2017-18) BILL 2018 This Public Bill originated in the House of Assembly, and, having this day passed, is now ready for presentation to the Legislative Council for its concurrence. SHANE DONNELLY, Clerk of the House 24 May 2018 (Brought in by the Treasurer, the Honourable Peter Carl Gutwein) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year ending on 30 June 2018 for the purpose of making contributions to Division 1, Department of Education, Division 2, Finance-General, Division 3, Department of Health and Human Services, Division 4, Department of Justice, Division 6, Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management, Division 7, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Division 8, Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment, and Division 9, Department of State Growth, of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017 Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: [Bill 11] 3

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2017-18) Act 2018 Act No. of 2018 s. 1 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2017-18) Act 2018. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2017. 3. Issue and appropriation of $168 676 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2018, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $168 676 000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purposes of appropriation (1) The sum of $14 197 000 is to be applied to Division 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Education, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (2) The sum of $841 000 is to be applied to Division 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Education, representing a Works and Services appropriation. 4

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2017-18) Act 2018 Act No. of 2018 s. 4 (3) The sum of $10 145 000 is to be applied to Division 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Finance-General, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (4) The sum of $74 910 000 is to be applied to Division 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Health and Human Services, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (5) The sum of $11 463 000 is to be applied to Division 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Health and Human Services, representing a Works and Services appropriation. (6) The sum of $7 108 000 is to be applied to Division 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Justice, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (7) The sum of $1 791 000 is to be applied to Division 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Justice, representing a Works and Services appropriation. (8) The sum of $7 670 000 is to be applied to Division 6 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 5

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2017-18) Act 2018 Act No. of 2018 s. 4 2017, Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (9) The sum of $4 778 000 is to be applied to Division 6 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management, representing a Works and Services appropriation. (10) The sum of $11 121 000 is to be applied to Division 7 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Premier and Cabinet, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (11) The sum of $360 000 is to be applied to Division 7 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Premier and Cabinet, representing a Works and Services appropriation. (12) The sum of $11 068 000 is to be applied to Division 8 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (13) The sum of $12 599 000 is to be applied to Division 9 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of State Growth, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. 6

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2017-18) Act 2018 Act No. of 2018 s. 5 (14) The sum of $625 000 is to be applied to Division 9 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2017, Department of State Growth, representing a Works and Services appropriation. 5.
