CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION BILL (No. 2) 2016 This Public Bill originated in the House of Assembly, and, having this day passed, is now ready for presentation to the Legislative Council for its concurrence. SHANE DONNELLY, Clerk of the House 16 June 2016 (Brought in by the Treasurer, the Honourable Peter Carl Gutwein) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of $29 380 000 out of the Consolidated Fund for the services of the Parliament and Statutory Offices for the financial year ending on 30 June 2017 Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 2) 2016. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2016. [Bill 26] 3

 


 

Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 2) 2016 Act No. of s. 3 3. Issue, application and appropriation of $29 380 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2017, the Treasurer may - (a) issue the sum of $29 380 000 out of the Consolidated Fund; and (b) apply that sum for the services of the Parliament and Statutory Offices. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purposes of appropriation The sum specified in section 3(1)(a) is to be applied for the purposes specified in Schedule 1. 5. Expiry of Act This Act expires on 30 June 2018. 4
