FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND AUDIT AMENDMENT (TIMELY TABLING OF REPORTS OF HEADS OF AGENCIES) BILL 2003 (Brought in by Peter Carl Gutwein) A BILL FOR An Act to amend the Financial Management and Audit Act 1990 Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Financial Management and Audit Amendment (Timely Tabling of Reports of Heads of Agencies) Act 2003. Commencement 2. This Act commences on a day to be proclaimed. Principal Act 3. In this Act, the Financial Management and Audit Act 1990* is referred to as the Principal Act. ___________________________________________________________ *No. 28 of 1990 2

 


 

Section 30 amended (Tabling of reports of Heads of Agencies) 4. Section 30 of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from subsection (1) "30th November" and substituting "31st October"; (b) by omitting from subsection (2) "30th November" and substituting "31st October"; (c) by omitting from subsection (3) "30th November" and substituting "31st October"; (d) by omitting from subsection (5) "30th November" twice occurring and substituting "31st October"; (e) by omitting from subsection (6) "30th November" twice occurring and substituting "31st October"; (f) by omitting from subsection (7) "5 months" and substituting "4 months" 3
