FORESTRY (REMOVAL OF EXEMPTIONS) AMENDMENT BILL 2003 (Brought in by Margaret Ann Putt MHA) A BILL FOR An Act to amend the Forestry Act 1920 to remove exemptions for forestry operations. Be it enacted by His Excellency The Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: PART 1 - PRELIMINARY Short Title 1. This Act may be cited as the Forestry (Removal of Exemptions) Amendment Act 2003. Commencement 2. This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. Principal Act 3. In this Act the Forestry Act 1920 is referred to as the Principal Act.

 


 

PART 2 - FORESTRY ACT 1920 AMENDED Section 22C amended (repeal of subsection 3) 4. Section 22C of the Principal Act is amended by repealing subsection 3.
