NATURE CONSERVATION (RFA COMPLIANCE) AMENDMENT BILL 2003 (Brought in by Margaret Ann Putt MHA) A BILL FOR An Act to amend the Nature Conservation Act 2002 to reinstate the original `Purposes of reservation' in relation to Regional Reserves, as defined by the Tasmanian Regional Forest Agreement. Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: PART 1 - PRELIMINARY Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Nature Conservation (RFA Compliance) Amendment Act 2003. Commencement 2. This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. PART 2 - NATURE CONSERVATION ACT 2002 AMENDED Principal Act 3. In this Act the Nature Conservation Act 2002 is referred to as the Principal Act. Schedule 1 amended 4. Amend clause 7 of Schedule 1 of the Principal Act by deleting the word "controlled" in Column 3 of the Schedule and replace by inserting "small- scale".
