NATIONAL PARKS AND RESERVES MANAGEMENT (RFA COMPLIANCE) AMENDMENT BILL 2003 (Brought in by Margaret Ann Putt MHA) A BILL FOR An Act to amend the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002 to reinstate the definition of Regional reserves. Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: PART 1 - PRELIMINARY Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the National Parks and Reserves Management (RFA Compliance) Amendment Act 2003. Commencement 2. This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. PART 2 - NATIONAL PARKS AND RESERVES MANAGEMENT ACT 2002 AMENDED Principal Act 3. In this Act the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002 is referred to as the Principal Act. Schedule 1 amended 4. Delete clause 7 (b) of Schedule 1 of the Principal Act and insert the following: "7 (b) to provide for the controlled use of other natural resources on a small scale;"
