APPROPRIATION BILL (NO. 1) 2019 BILL 21 OF 2019

                               CLAUSE NOTES
                       Appropriation Bill (No. 1) 2019
Clause 1   This clause provides for the Short title of the Act to be the Appropriation Act
           (No. 1) 2018. This title makes it clear that the Act relates to 2019-20.
Clause 2   This clause provides for the commencement of the Act from 1 July 2019. This
           commencement date facilitates the appropriation of the funds concerned for
           2019-20.
Clause 3   This clause provides for the interpretation of the terms Capital Services and
           Operating Services used in Schedule 1.
Clause 4   This clause provides for the appropriation of $5 053 974 000 out of the
           Public Account, to be applied for the services of the Government.
Clause 5   This clause applies the sum of $5 053 974 000 specified in Clause 4 for the
           purposes specified in Schedule 1.
Clause 6   This clause provides for the expiry of the Act on 30 June 2021.
