GoNSoLIDATED FUND APPROPRTATTON B|LL (NO. 2) 2011
NOTES ON CLAUSES
Clause 1 This clause provides for the Short title of the Act to be the
Consolidated Fund Appropiation Act (No. 2) 2011 . This title makes
it clear that the Act relates to the 2011-12 financial year.
Clause 2 This clause provides for the commencement of the Act from
1 July 2011. This commencement date facilitates the appropriation
of the funds concerned for the 2011-12 financial year.
Clause 3 This clause provides for the appropriation of $27 511 000 out of the
Consolidated Fund, to be applied for the services of the Parliament
and Statutory Offices.
Clause 4 This clause applies the sum of $27 511 000 for the purposes
specified in Schedule 1.
Clause 5 This clause provides the Treasurer with the authority to borrow
money that may be required for the purposes of the State.
Clause 6 This clause provides for the expiry of the Act on 30 June 2013.
