                        NOTES ON CLAUSES

Clause 1 This clause provides for the title of the Act to be the Charter of
           Budget Responsibility Amendment Act 2011.

Clause 2 The Act is taken to have commenced on the day on which this Act
           receives the Royal Assent.

Clause 3 This clause provides that the Charter of Budget Responsibility
Act 2007 is to be referred to as the Principal Act.

Clause 4 This clause provides that Schedule 1 of the Charter of Budget

               day'; and

           · replacing references to the `issue of a writ for an election for the
House of Assembly' with `commencement of the caretaker
               period'.

day from the day on which it commences.
