                                  CLAUSE NOTES
                    Land Tax Rating Amendment Bill 2014


Clause 1   This Act may be cited as the Land Tax Rating Amendment Act 2014.
Clause 2   This Bill is to commence on a day to be proclaimed.
Clause 3   In this Act, the Land Tax Rating Act 2000 is referred to as the Principal Act.
Clause 4   Amends section 6 by inserting a new subsection (4) and (5) to ensure that any such
           proportion of the land that is general, which is not exempt land under sections 19A,
           19B, 19C or 30A, is subject to Schedule 1 of the Land Tax Rating Act.
Clause 5   This Act will be repealed 365 days after it commences.
