(1) The Governor may make regulations for the purposes of this Act.(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1) , the regulations may make provision for or with respect to (a) the manner in which the advice and assistance of the Director may be sought or given;(b) the circumstances in which any police officer or other prescribed person may be required to (i) give to the Director information concerning the commission of a prescribed crime or prescribed offence; and(ii) report to the Director the fact of a prosecution for a crime or an offence having been withdrawn or not proceeded with within a reasonable time and the circumstances in which it was so withdrawn or not proceeded with; and(c) the sending by the clerk of a court to the Director of a report with respect to proceedings for a crime or an offence instituted in the court, and the nature of the information or documents to be supplied to the Director in relation to such a report.
