LIVING MARINE RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 209
Defence for accidental taking of fish
It is a defence in proceedings relating to the taking of fish if the defendant
establishes that, on becoming aware of the taking of the fish, the defendant
immediately returned the fish to the waters from where it came with the least
possible injury.
