LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2007 - SECT 102

Lawyer to give notice of foreign regulatory action

(1)  If foreign regulatory action has been taken in relation to a local lawyer, the lawyer must, as soon as practicable, give the Supreme Court, Board and prescribed authority written notice of the action taken.
Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
(2)  If foreign regulatory action has been taken in relation to a local legal practitioner, the practitioner must, as soon as practicable, give the Board and prescribed authority written notice of the action taken.
Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
