(1) A multi-disciplinary partnership is a partnership between one or more Australian legal practitioners and one or more other persons who are not Australian legal practitioners, where the business of the partnership includes the provision of legal services in this jurisdiction as well as other services.(2) However, a partnership consisting only of one or more Australian legal practitioners and one or more Australian-registered foreign lawyers is not a multi-disciplinary partnership.(3) A complying community legal centre is not a multi-disciplinary partnership.(4) Nothing in this Part affects or applies to the provision by a multi-disciplinary partnership of legal services in one or more other jurisdictions.
