(1) Nothing in this Act, the regulations or the legal profession rules prevents a legal practitioner partner, or an Australian legal practitioner who is an employee of a multi-disciplinary partnership, from sharing receipts, revenue or other income arising from the provision of legal services by the partner or practitioner with a partner or partners who are not Australian legal practitioners.(2) This section does not extend to the sharing of receipts, revenue or other income in contravention of section 157 , and has effect subject to section 89 (Holders of local practising certificates as barristers).
