(1) A mediator has, in the performance of his or her duties under this Part, the same protection and immunity as a judge of the Supreme Court has in the performance of his or her duties as a judge.(2) No matter or thing done or omitted to be done by a mediator subjects the mediator to any action, liability, claim or demand if the matter or thing was done in good faith for the purposes of mediation under this Part.
