(1) As soon as possible after an appointment of a manager for a law practice is made, the Board must serve a notice of the appointment on (a) the practice; and(b) any other person authorised to operate any trust account of the practice; and(c) any external examiner appointed to examine the practices trust records; and(d) the ADI with which any trust account of the practice is maintained; and(e) the prescribed authority; and(f) any other person who the Board reasonably believes should be served with the notice.(2) The notice must (a) identify the law practice and the manager; and(b) indicate that the external intervention is by way of appointment of a manager; and(c) specify the term of the appointment; and(d) specify any reporting requirements to be observed by the manager; and(e) specify any conditions imposed by the Board when the appointment is made; and(f) include a statement that the law practice may appeal against the appointment of the manager under section 557 (Appeal against appointment); and(g) contain or be accompanied by other information or material prescribed by the regulations.
