(1) The Council may appoint an Australian legal practitioner to appear before a court or tribunal in a matter which affects the Law Society or its members or in which the Law Society is directly or indirectly concerned or interested.(2) Without limiting subsection (1) , the Law Society is entitled to appear (a) in any proceedings instituted by the Council; and(b) in any proceedings in which a person seeks admission to the legal profession; and(c) in any proceedings which affect the Law Society or its members.
