(1)  The Minister must not make an amendment of the SPPs under section 30P , section 30NA(6) or section 30NB(3)(a) unless the Minister is satisfied that the amendment of the SPPs meets the SPPs criteria.

(2)  The Minister, before making an amendment of the SPPs under section 30P , section 30NA(6) or section 30NB(3)(a) , may inform himself or herself, in the manner he or she thinks fit, in relation to any matter.

(3)  Without limiting the manner in which the Minister may inform himself or herself for the purposes of subsection (2) , the Minister may require the Commission to provide him or her with further information for the purposes of that subsection.
