MENTAL HEALTH ACT 2013 - SECT 45

Action to be taken by Tribunal on making treatment order

On making a treatment order, the Tribunal is to –
(a) give the patient notice to that effect and a copy of the order (together with a statement of rights in a form approved by the President of the Tribunal); and
(b) give notice to that effect and a copy of the order to –
(i) the approved medical practitioner who applied for the order; and
(ii) the treating medical practitioner; and
(iii) if the patient is in, or is expected to be in, an approved facility, the controlling authority of that facility; and
(iv) the Chief Psychiatrist.
