(1)  The Minister may authorise any person to carry out –

(a) percussion drilling operations; or

(b) diamond drilling operations; or

(c) any other boring operations.

(2)  Any operations carried out on land administered by the Minister responsible for the administration of the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002 are to be carried out in accordance with any management plan in respect of that land.
