A person must not, on an area of land comprised in a licence, explore for minerals to which the licence relates, unless the person (a) is the holder of the licence; or(b) is authorised, by the holder of the licence to explore for the minerals; or(c) is exploring for the minerals under a contract of service, or a contract for services, with the holder of the licence; or(d) has obtained the written consent of the holder of the licence.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.
