(1) The Governor may make regulations for the purposes of this Act.(2) Nothing in the regulations prohibits the doing of anything required to be done for the purposes of complying with any other Act.(3) Without limiting the generality of subsection (1) regulations made under this subsection may make provision for or with respect to (a) the payment and collection of fees by any person in relation to any act, matter or thing done or arising under this Act; and(b) the remission of, or exemption from liability for, any such fees.(4) The regulations may (a) be of general or specially limited application; and(b) apply differently according to matters, limitations or restrictions, whether as to time, circumstance or otherwise, specified in the regulations; and(c) authorise any matter to be from time to time determined, applied or regulated by the Minister, the Secretary or another person performing functions under this Act as specified in the regulations.(5) The regulations may contain provisions of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of this Act or the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002 .(6) A provision referred to in subsection (5) may take effect on and from the day on which this Act commences or a later day.(7) The regulations may rescind regulations or other subordinate legislation made under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 .
