(1) The Appeal Board, by service of a notice, is to give a copy of its decision to (a) the accredited building practitioner; and(b) the complainant; and(c) the authorised body.(2) The notice takes effect (a) if an appeal is made under section 46 and the magistrate makes a decision in accordance with section 40(2)(a) or (b) , on the date of that decision; or(b) if an appeal is not made under section 46 , at the end of 28 days after the date of service of the notice.(3) A person must comply with the notice when it takes effect.Penalty: In the case of (a) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 250 penalty units.
