LIQUOR LICENSING AMENDMENT ACT 2015 (NO. 51 OF 2015) - SECT 100

Section 212 amended (Procedure on appeal)

Section 212 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsections (1) and (2) and substituting the following subsections:
(1)  An appeal against a decision by the Commissioner must be made, in writing, to the Commission within 14 days from the date of receipt of the decision or within such further period as the Commission considers is appropriate in the interests of justice.
(2)  An appeal against a determination under section 81A(3) must be made, in writing, to the Commission within 14 days from the date of receipt of the determination or within such further period as the Commission considers is appropriate in the interests of justice.
(3)  The Commission is to hold a hearing to consider an appeal within a reasonable period after receiving the appeal.
