(1) A council may (a) grant an application for the registration of premises where a public risk activity may be carried out subject to any conditions; or(b) refuse to grant the application.(2) In determining an application, the council is to consider (a) whether the premises are capable of being operated in accordance with any relevant guidelines; and(b) the protection of public health.(3) The council, by notice in writing served on the applicant, must notify (a) the granting of the application; or(b) the refusal to grant the application.
