Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:

(1)  The Tasmanian Qualifications Authority, within the meaning of this Act as in force on the day on which the Tasmanian Qualifications Authority Amendment Act 2015 commenced, is continued as the Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification.

(b) by omitting from subsection (2) "Authority –" and substituting "Office –" ;

(c) by omitting from subsection (3) "Authority." and substituting "Office." .
