Section 64 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting the following subparagraph after subparagraph (vii) in subsection (1)(a) :

(viii) an exemption from a requirement relating to vehicle standards or vehicle operations; or

(b) by inserting in subsection (2) ", exemption" after "permit" ;

(c) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (b) in subsection (3) :

(ba) dishonestly use an exemption granted under this Act to create the false impression that the person or a vehicle or combination is exempt from a requirement of this Act; or

(d) by inserting in subsection (4) ", exemption" after "trade plate" ;

(e) by inserting in subsection (5) ", exemption" after "trade plate" .
