(1) The Minister may appoint a panel of persons to act as arbitrators for the purposes of municipal revaluations.(2) A person appointed under subsection (1) is to be a person who, in the opinion of the Minister, has sufficient experience in the valuation of land to act as an arbitrator.(3) Subject to this section, an arbitrator holds office subject to such terms and conditions as are specified in the instrument of appointment.(4) An arbitrator may resign office by notice in writing addressed to the Minister.(5) An arbitrator holds office for such term, not exceeding 4 years, as may be specified in the instrument of appointment.
