Police Regulation Amendment
(Protective Services Officers) Bill 2010
A Bill for an Act to amend the Police Regulation Act 1958 and for
other purposes.
The Parliament of Victoria enacts:
1 Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to amend the Police
Regulation Act 1958 to make provision for the
appointment of additional protective services
5 officers to perform further functions.
2 Commencement
(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into
operation on a day to be proclaimed.
(2) If this Act does not come into operation before
10 1 January 2012, it comes into operation on that
day.

4 Repeal of Act
This Act is repealed on 1 January 2013.
