PARLIAMENT OF VICTORIA Introduced in the Assembly Senate Elections Amendment Bill 2006 A Bill for an Act to amend the Senate Elections Act 1958 and for other purposes. The Parliament of Victoria enacts: 1 Purpose The purpose of this Act is to amend the Senate Elections Act 1958 as a consequence of the amendment to the Commonwealth Electoral Act 5 1918 to reduce the period for the close of the rolls for a Senate election. 2 Commencement This Act comes into operation on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. 561011B.I-19/12/2006 1 BILL LA INTRODUCTION 19/12/2006
Senate Elections Amendment Bill 2006 s. 3 See: 3 Amendment of section 4 Act No. 6365. For section 4(1) of the Senate Elections Act 1958 Reprint No. 2 substitute-- as at 17 April 1997 and "(1) The date fixed for the close of the Rolls is 5 amending the third working day after the date of the Act No. 24/1999. writ. LawToday: www.dms. Note dpc.vic.
