Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If in any proceedings for an offence against this Act, a person is found guilty of an offence against this Act, the court, in addition to any other penalty it may fix, may order that the person pay to a person who, in the opinion of the court, was humiliated or distressed by the conduct constituting the offence an amount of up to—
(a) $10 000; or
(b) if a greater amount is prescribed, that prescribed amount.
(2) An order under this section may be enforced as
if it were an order made by the court in its civil jurisdiction.
