Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A registered Aboriginal party registered under this Part before the commencement of section 95 of the Aboriginal Heritage Amendment Act 2016 must, within 2 years of the commencement of that section, be a corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 of the Commonwealth.
(2) A registered Aboriginal party may make a
written request to the Council to extend the period referred to in subsection
(1) by a period of up to 12 months.
