BUILDING ACT 1993 - SECT 204C

    (1)     A VBA inspector must produce the VBA inspector's identification for inspection—

        (a)     before exercising a power under this Act or the regulations; and

        (b)     at any time during the exercise of a power under this Act or the regulation s , if asked to do so.

Penalty:     1 penalty unit.

    (2)     Subsection (1) does not apply to—

        (a)     a requirement made by post; or

        (b)     the exercise of a power of entry under section 228I(1).
