Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A person referred to in section 41(a), who intends to apply for an occupancy permit in respect of the construction of a new building of a prescribed class of building, must prepare a draft building manual for the building in accordance with the regulations and ensure that the draft building manual accompanies the application made to the relevant building surveyor.

(2) If the construction of a building referred to in subsection (1) has been carried out under more than one staged permit, the requirement under subsection (1) applies only in respect of the application for the final occupancy permit.
