CRIMES ACT 1958 - SECT 53W

Consent of Director of Public Prosecutions required if accused is under 16 years of age

A prosecution for an intimate image offence must not be commenced without the consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions if A is under 16 years of age at the time of the alleged commission of the offence.

Note

The reference to A in this section is a reference to the same A referred to in sections 53R, 53S and 53T.
