CORONERS ACT 2008 - SECT 98

Functions of registrars

        A registrar has the following functions in addition to those conferred on him or her by or under this or any other Act—

        (a)     on behalf of a coroner, to receive information about a death or fire that a coroner is investigating;

        (b)     to administer an oath or affirmation to a person in relation to a death or fire that a coroner is investigating;

S. 98(c) amended by No. 6/2018 s. 68(Sch. 2 item 30.3(b)).

        (c)     to swear or affirm an affidavit relating to an investigation by a coroner;

        (d)     any functions prescribed by the rules or regulations.
