Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) With the prior approval in writing of the Secretary, a cemetery trust may establish and operate a crematorium in a public cemetery for which it is responsible.
(2) A cemetery trust must not establish and operate a crematorium in any area set aside for interments of persons of a particular religious denomination or faith or community or other group.
