Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A proprietor of a breeding domestic animal business must not conduct the business on a premises where more than 10 relevant fertile female dogs are kept.
Penalty: In the case of a natural person, 164 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 600 penalty units.
(2) A person who is the proprietor of the breeding domestic animal business does not commit an offence under subsection (1) if the person is an approved commercial dog breeder.
