ESTATE AGENTS ACT 1980 - SECT 47AB

An estate agent or agent's representative employed by the agent must ensure that the estimate of the selling price contained in an engagement or appointment to sell residential property is—

        (a)     reasonable; and

        (b)     determined in accordance with section 47AC.

Penalty:     200 penalty units.
