Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current ActsIf an employee who immediately before his or her employment in the public service was an employee in the teaching service, is employed in the public service, the rights under this Act which the employee preserves or retains are by this section declared to be rights in respect of—
(a) leave on the ground of illness; and
(b) long service leave or pay in lieu of leave (including pay to dependants on the death of the employee)—
to which from time to time he or she would be entitled if he or she had remained an employee of the teaching service and had not been employed in the public service.
