Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current ActsAny person who is a prison officer within the meaning of the Corrections Act 1986 and who, within a period of 12 months after the coming into operation of section 193, has in his possession or carries or uses a firearm issued to him for the performance of a detailed duty and during the performance of the duty does not commit an offence against section 6 or 7 for so doing and is not required to hold a licence under this Part.
