INSTRUMENTS ACT 1958 - SECT 15

No assurance to be made on ships etc.

No assurance or assurances shall be made by any person or persons bodies corporate or politic, on any ship or ships belonging to His Majesty or any of his subjects or any goods merchandises or effects laden or to be laden on board of any such ship or ships, interest or no interest or without further proof of interest than the policy or by way of gaming or wagering or without benefit of salvage to the assurer.
