INDEPENDENT BROAD-BASED ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION ACT 2011 - SECT 111

The IBAC to notify Chief Commissioner of Police of acquisition or disposal of firearms

    (1)     The IBAC must notify the Chief Commissioner of Police within 7 days of—

        (a)     the acquisition of a firearm; or

        (b)     the disposal of a firearm.

    (2)     The notification must—

        (a)     be in writing; and

        (b)     state the make, type, calibre, action and serial number of the firearm.
