LEGAL PROFESSION UNIFORM LAW APPLICATION ACT 2014 - SECT 131

Contributions and levies not to exceed prescribed amount

    (1)     This section applies to—

        (a)     an annual contribution to the fidelity fund under section 225 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria) or under section 128 of this Act; and

        (b)     a levy under section 226 or 231(1)(b) of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria) or under section 129 of this Act.

    (2)     The amount of the contribution or levy for any person or community legal service cannot exceed the amount (if any) prescribed by the regulations.

    (3)     This section applies despite anything to the contrary in Part 4.5 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria) or Division 2 of this Part.
