LEGAL PROFESSION UNIFORM LAW APPLICATION ACT 2014 - SECT 147

Payments to fidelity fund

The Victorian Legal Services Board may at any time pay out of the Public Purpose Fund and into the fidelity fund such amount as it thinks fit if it is of the opinion—

        (a)     that the income of the fidelity fund from contributions and levies paid or payable under Division 2 of Part 8 is or is likely to be insufficient to satisfy claims made against the fidelity fund as they fall due; or

        (b)     that the fidelity fund is or is likely to become insolvent; or

        (c)     that it is appropriate to do so in order to establish the solvency level for the fidelity fund as then fixed by the Governor in Council under section 125.
