(1) The Victorian Legal Services Board must keep a register of Australian legal practitioners whose home jurisdiction is Victoria.
(2) A register kept under subsection (1) must—
(a) include the information required under section 435 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria); and
(b) specify whether each practitioner is or is not a barrister; and
(c) include any other prescribed information.
(3) A register under subsection (1) may be kept in the way the Victorian Legal Services Board decides.
(4) A register kept under subsection (1) must be available for public inspection, without charge, at the Victorian Legal Services Board's office during normal business hours.
(5) Information recorded in a register kept under subsection (1) may be provided to members of the public in any other manner approved by the Victorian Legal Services Board.
