Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The person who was the chairperson of the Legal Services Board under the old Act immediately before the commencement day continues to be the chairperson of the Victorian Legal Services Board under this Act on the same terms and conditions of appointment for the balance of his or her term, and is eligible for reappointment.
(2) The person who was the deputy chairperson of the Legal Services Board under the old Act immediately before the commencement day continues to be the deputy chairperson of the Victorian Legal Services Board under this Act as if he or she had been appointed under section 33(3) of this Act.
(3) A person who was an appointed member of the Legal Services Board under the old Act immediately before the commencement day continues to be an appointed member of the Victorian Legal Services Board on and after that day under this Act on the same terms and conditions of appointment for the balance of his or her term, and is eligible for reappointment.
(4) A person who was an elected member of the Legal Services Board under the old Act immediately before the commencement day continues to be an elected member of the Victorian Legal Services Board on and after that day under this Act on the same terms and conditions of appointment for the balance of his or her term, and is eligible for re‑election.
